THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU REGISTER-
CHANGE IN REGISTERED OFFICE WITHIN CITY

INTRODUCTION:

The Registered office is the address of the company which is recorded with concerned ROC as registered address. To seek more growth in terms of resources, public demand, government policies or better management a company may decide to change its registered office within the same city. In this case it is mandatory for all companies to inform concerned ROC about the change of location within prescibed time limit.

Documents Required:-

1. Proof of registered office address ( Conveyance/Rent Agreement / Lease Deed)
2. Copies of Utility Bill (Telephone/Electricity/Water Bill not older than 2 months) in the name of the company.
3. NOC from owner. 
4. Copy of Board Resolution.

Procedure:-

1. Call Board Meeting–
    Get approval of directors by passing board resolution for shifting of registered office.
2. ROC form filing–
     File INC 22 with required documents within 30 days of the change(passing board resolution).
